Today, the director of public relations of the Nigerian Army Brigadier Olaleye Lajide, dismissed the reports, saying the military have his academic records, that they're just waiting for him to apply for it From Sahara Reporters The military spokesman made the disclosure while responding to a text message from SaharaReporters seeking clarification about the status of Mr. Buhari’s records. Brigadier Lajide affirmed that the Nigerian Army is in possession of all records of serving, retired and deceased officers since its inception. He added, however, that all military officers are supposed to keep original copies of their certificates. According to him, in the event where an officer loses his or her original copy of records, the concerned officer must officially apply for copies from the army. The Nigerian Army has denied reports of the secret trial and dismissal of 203 Nigerian soldiers in Borno state on December 24th which was reported yesterday January 2nd. According to the Director Army Public Relations, Brigadier General Olajide Laleye, the army does not conduct any illegal trial  "As I speak to you, I don’t know where such secret trial was conducted and how the story of 203 soldiers came about, maybe the writer conducted the trial. The army conducts its trials in line with laid down procedures and the suspects choose their own lawyers to represent them. The army does not do any illegal trial and whatever it does is according to the law.” he told Tribune

A few days ago, APC Presidential candidate, Buhari said he could not tender any of his academic certificates before INEC because they were all with the Military board and not at his disposal. (read here ). Well, now the army has contradicted that claim, saying the do not keep the certificates of any serving or retired officer or soldier. A military source told Vanguard; "The Army can not keep anybody’s original certificate because it is the personal property of the owner. The original certificate of any officer or soldier is only needed at the point of entry into the service either as a cadet officer entering the Nigerian Defence Academy, or the recruitment officers when interviewing recruits to be sent to the depot for training. According to a story that made the front cover of South African newspaper, Daily News, T.B Joshua took some relatives of the 85 South Africans killed in the collapse of his church building last year, on a shopping spree and showered them with cash. The pastor invited relatives of about 44 victims to Nigeria and many of them accepted to come. 34 year old snake handler, Jamie Guarino, filmed his 14 month old daughter, Alyssa, playing with their family pet, a 10 year old 13ft Burmese python called Nay-Nay. This Python is one of the five largest snakes in the world. The snake handler said he filmed the video with his baby girl at their home in Michigan to educate people about snakes and how harmless they can be. Someone should please come get this child.
